Adhvita walked towards her brotherβs room and stopped near the door. The door was already slightly open, but she hesitated for a moment before going inside. Still, she gathered the courage and knocked. When Rehaan didnβt open the door, she slowly stepped inside and realised that he wasnβt in the room.
She looked around restlessly for a while, and just then the bathroom door opened. Rehaan walked out. His face looked dull, his eyes were red and slightly swollen. At first, Rehaan looked at his sister, but then he ignored her and walked straight towards the balcony, where a sofa was placed, and sat down there. Seeing this, Adhvita felt a sharp pain pierce her heart. Her eyes filled with tears, but she wiped them away and walked towards him. Pressing her fingers together nervously, she said softly,
